Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer Ather Energy has started bookings for its upcoming electric scooter Ather Rizta. Buyers can book it from the official website by paying Rs 999. The company shared this information today on social media platform X and also released a teaser of the e-scooter. Ather is calling the upcoming e-scooter a family electric scooter. The teaser said that the electric scooter will have the largest boot space and the largest seat in the segment. Apart from this, it will also have safety features like voice command, brake assist and anti-lock braking system. The company is gearing up for a Community Day event on April 6. Ather Rizta will be launched on this day. The company says that deliveries of the scooter will begin 4 months after its launch. The company has been testing it for several days.
Ather Rizta Price will be between 1.25 lakh to 1.35 lakh Rupees
Ather CEO Tarun Mehta shared a photo on social media platform X about the size of his seat. He compared the Seat to Honda Activa and Ola Electric S1. Its ex-showroom price will be between Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 1.35 lakh.
Ather Rizta More Floorboard Area will be Available
The Aether Ridgeline has been spotted several times on Indian roads during testing. Many features of the electric scooter came to the fore. It looks larger in size than the Ather 450X, an electric scooter included in the company's lineup. The e-scooter features a large floor board area that is clearly visible and a long seat along with a pinnacle for storing luggage.
Ather Rizta 150km Range with full Digital Screen
Ather Rizzta will have features like horizontal LED headlights, tail lamps, full LED lighting, full digital screen, ride mode, smartphone connectivity, fast charging. In addition, there will be 12-inch front and rear wheels with rear grab rails. The company is calling the upcoming EV a family electric scooter. No details of the technical specifications of the e-scooter have been revealed, but it is expected to get a range of over 150Km.
The Company will Launch New Accessories
In another post, Ather revealed that the EV will have an option to play music while riding, but the company is not integrating speakers on the scooter. The speaker and mic are expected to be integrated into the Halo smart helmet, which will support all Ather scooters. Aether also released a new tire inflator as additional accessories, which can also be used as a flashlight and power bank.
